Enterprise Data Architect Position

Job Summary:

Our team is seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Architect to lead the development of a data management strategy and oversee the implementation of enterprise-wide data solutions. The successful candidate will have experience in designing, building, and maintaining complex data architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Architecture Design:
    • Develop and maintain enterprise-wide data architecture standards
    • Design and implement data warehousing and business intelligence solutions
    • Lead the development of data governance policies and procedures
  • Server Administration:
    • Manage and maintain Windows file servers
    • Ensure authorization and access controls are in place
  • Divestment:
    • Extract and transfer archived data to buyer
    • Document maintenance activities and configurations
  • Software Management:
    • Install and manage software applications
    • Perform troubleshooting and issue resolution
  • SAP Data Archiving:
    • Activate and deactivate archive infostructure (AIS)
    • Run catchup archiving for new archive objects
  • Reporting Responsibility:
    • Provide regular status updates on project progress
    • Update work items in ADO board and team OneNote
  • Data Management: Incident Management and Resolution:
    • Assess and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
    • Collaborate with other teams to ensure issue resolution
  • Requirements:
    • Strong understanding of data management principles and practices
    • Experience with data warehousing and business intelligence solutions
    • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
