Senior Event Strategist

The Senior Event Strategist will be responsible for leading the planning, execution and oversight of all company events. This role requires a visionary leader with extensive experience in event management, capable of delivering impactful and memorable experiences that align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive event strategy that supports overall marketing goals.
  • Oversee the end-to-end planning and execution of all company events, including conferences, trade shows and corporate gatherings.
  • Manage event logistics, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing event management team.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to secure favorable terms.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales and product teams to ensure seamless event integration and communication.
  • Identify and implement innovative event technologies and best practices to enhance attendee experience and operational efficiency.
  • Conduct post-event analysis, evaluating success metrics and identifying areas for improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or Hospitality Management.
  • Minimum of 10 years progressive experience in event management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven success in planning and executing a wide range of events, both in-person and virtual.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing large budgets.
  • Exceptional leadership, team management and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in event management software and CRM systems.
