Senior Credit Leader Role

This senior role involves leading a team responsible for managing customer accounts and ensuring timely collections. The ideal candidate will have experience in risk analysis, credit history research, and team leadership.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the collection of overdue accounts, analyzing potential sources of loss, and preparing reports on account performance.
  • They will also lead credit history research, collect personal or business data, and run credit reports to analyze potential risks.

Beyond these responsibilities, the Senior Credit Leader will be expected to develop and lead a high-performing team, coach employees, and make decisions related to talent management, hiring, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate a team that collects and maintains customer accounts and tracks account status.
  • Analyze potential sources of loss to minimize risk and estimate financial consequences.
  • Lead credit history research and collect personal or business data.
  • Direct follow-up on overdue accounts and initiate demand letters or phone calls.
  • Prepare and distribute reports showing account performance.
  • Develop and lead a high-performing team, coach employees, and make talent management decisions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience, typically reflecting 5+ years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two years of supervisory experience.
