Role Overview\

To successfully translate and coordinate vernacular outreach, you will be responsible for accurately translating content from English to Hindi for our website, videos, letters, and other documents. Your coordination skills will play a key role in ensuring smooth, timely, and accurate delivery of multilingual campaign content.

Key Responsibilities\

  • \
  • Translate written English content into accurate and meaningful Hindi for our website, social media, news releases, media statements, newsletters, video scripts, billboards, leaflets, letters, demonstration materials, and other outreach materials.\

Vernacular Outreach Coordination\
  • \
  • Coordinate with freelance translators and proofreaders working in other Indian languages to ensure timely and accurate delivery of multilingual campaign content.\

Websites and Social Media Management\
  • \
  • Assist in managing and maintaining our Hindi website, including uploading content according to standard operating procedures and ensuring regular updates with the latest campaign news, blogs, and resources.\
  • Support content development and management of our Hindi Facebook page and other regional social media platforms.\
\

Creatives Development\
  • \
  • Collaborate with the Online and Campaigns teams to create and adapt Hindi creatives for social media use.\

Campaign Awareness\
  • \
  • Stay informed about our ongoing and upcoming campaigns to ensure consistency and accuracy across all Hindi content.\
\

Qualifications\
  1. \
  2. Minimum two (2) years of practical experience in translation from English to Hindi.\
  3. Strong coordination skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team of freelance translators and liaise with various internal departments.\
  4. Excellent translation skill from English to Hindi and verbal communication skills in both English and Hindi.\
  5. Strong understanding of social media trends and engagement practices.\
  6. Experience with website and social media content management is a plus.\
  7. Proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Office, and general computer applications.\
  8. Strong time-management, organisational skills, and attention to detail.\
  9. Ability to perform well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.\
  10. Strong alignment with our philosophy and the ability to advocate its positions respectfully and effectively.\
