Role Overview:

As a Tax Preparer (Enrolled Agent), you will play a critical role in preparing U.S. individual and business tax returns with accuracy and precision. You will work closely with our experienced team to ensure timely and precise completion of returns.

Responsibilities:

- Utilize your expertise to prepare and review client tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.

- Manage the entire tax preparation process, from document collection to client signatures, ensuring a seamless experience for our clients.

- Analyze year-over-year data to identify missing information or documents, ensuring comprehensive and accurate returns.

- Collaborate closely with our team to ensure timely and precise completion of returns.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.

- IRS Enrolled Agent status or pursuing it.

- A minimum of 2 years' experience preparing U.S. individual tax returns.

- Proficiency in navigating tax software and confidently handling tax-related documents.

- Impeccable attention to detail, combined with strong analytical skills.

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

- Proficient in individual and business tax return preparation.

- Familiarity with W2s, 1098s, 1099s, K-1s, and schedules such as E and C.

- Capable of working 8-12 hour days during peak tax seasons (Jan-May, Sept-Oct) and 8-hour days during off-season.
