We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Associate to join our team in Pune. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, excellent communication skills, and 2-4 years of experience in indirect tax advisory/litigation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis of legal provisions to provide expert advice and opinions to clients.
- Draft comprehensive compliance reports, presentations, and scenario building for identifying tax efficient business models.
- Analyze client data to estimate the tax impact on business transactions and contribute to the preparation of articles, monographs, and other technical documents.
- Proactively identify and discuss complex technical issues with clients while being mindful of firm risk management.
- Handle tax matters, including the preparation of submissions, responses to notices, appeals, and meetings with tax authorities.
- Develop commercial acumen and stay up-to-date with firm-wide and competitor activities as well as general business trends.
Requirements:
- CA or LLB degree from a reputable Law School with a strong academic record.
