Job Title: Mortgage Pre-Closing Specialist

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mortgage Pre-Closing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing loan packages and creating initial and subsequent closing disclosures (CDs). You will coordinate with title and settlement agents to ensure timely closings and accuracy of data in the CD.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loan Package Review: Conduct thorough reviews of loan packages to identify any issues or discrepancies.
  • Closing Disclosure Preparation: Prepare accurate and complete closing disclosures, including initial and subsequent CDs.
  • Coordination with Settlement Agents: Work closely with title and settlement agents to ensure smooth closings and timely disbursements.
  • Data Accuracy: Ensure the accuracy of data in the CD, including loan information, fees, and other relevant details.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders, including borrowers, lenders, and settlement agents.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date on regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including underwriting, servicing, and quality control.
