Role Summary:

We're looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our mobile apps, web platform, backend systems, and machine learning–powered features. You'll begin with manual testing of new and existing features, then gradually transition into automation testing as we expand our test coverage and capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform manual functional, regression, and exploratory testing for mobile apps (iOS & Android), web apps, and backend APIs.
  • Test new ML-driven features for accuracy, performance, and user experience.
  • Create, maintain, and execute test cases, test plans, and bug reports.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and designers to ensure smooth feature rollouts.
  • Reproduce and investigate reported issues, working with the dev team for resolutions.
  • Maintain test documentation and track quality metrics.
  • Gradually contribute to automation testing frameworks for web, mobile, and APIs.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of QA experience (manual testing across mobile, web, and backend).
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing types, and bug lifecycle.
  • Hands-on experience with tools like Jira, Postman, or similar.
  • Ability to write clear, detailed, and reproducible bug reports.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and basic database queries is a plus.
  • Exposure to automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress) is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive in identifying edge cases.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • AWS Knowledge: Experience with AWS services is a plus.

Nice To Have:

  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and QA's role in them.
  • Basic knowledge of scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, or similar).
