Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain automated test scripts using a programming language, preferably Python, for efficient testing.
  2. Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to design appropriate test strategies based on product requirements.
  3. Utilize Selenium or Playwright automation frameworks to automate web-based application testing.
  4. Perform API testing using REST Assured tools to ensure backend service functionality and stability.
  5. Manage test scripts and collaborate with the team using Git and GitHub.
  6. Utilize JIRA for test case management, defect tracking, and project management.
  7. Set up and manage test environments using Docker containers.
  8. Conduct cross-platform compatibility testing on Windows and Linux operating systems.
  9. Apply TDD and BDD principles to create robust and maintainable test scripts.
  10. Knowledge and experience with Jenkins, performance and security testing concepts, and GraphQL technology are plus factors.

Requirements:

  1. 1-3 years of relevant experience.
  2. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  3. Strong programming skills with hands-on experience in at least one programming language, preferably Python.
  4. Solid understanding and experience with Playwright automation frameworks.
  5. Proficiency in using REST Assured tools for API testing.
  6. Familiarity with Git and GitHub for version control.
  7. Experience with JIRA for test case management.
  8. Knowledge of Docker and ability to work with containers.
  9. Familiarity with both Windows and Linux operating systems.
  10. Strong understanding of TDD and BDD methodologies.
  11. Knowledge and experience with Jenkins is a plus.
  12. Familiarity with performance and security testing concepts is a plus.
  13. Understanding of GraphQL technology is a plus.
  14. Experience in API automation is a plus.
