Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Quality Assurance Lead with expertise in automation testing to spearhead our quality assurance initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Selenium / Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) Cucumber framework, experience in agile methodologies, and a deep understanding of the banking domain.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand application/domain requirements, write test cases, execute tests, and manage defects.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans that ensure product quality and stability.
  • Create automated regression test suites for continued assurance of product quality.
  • Review and refine test designs, test plans, and test cases to ensure thorough coverage.
  • Develop Quality Assurance metrics to measure the effectiveness of QA automation.
  • Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) that mimics end-to-end user scenarios.
  • Validate production by running sanity tests and data validations.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce operational risks through automation of mundane tasks across the software development lifecycle.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Conduct functional and automation testing using Selenium / BDD Cucumber framework.
  • Utilize test management tools such as JIRA for tracking and managing test cases and defects.
  • Expertise in Quality Assurance automation frameworks for functional, regression, and performance tests like Selenium, Cucumber, Soap UI, JMeter, Load Runner etc.
  • Strong banking domain knowledge.
  • Proficient in Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) process with excellent testing skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate with various teams on testing activities.
  • Collaborative mindset, self-driven, and takes ownership of tasks.
