Job Description

The role of a Quality Assurance Tester is to ensure that software applications meet the required standards and quality levels. This involves conducting thorough testing, identifying defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.

As a Quality Assurance Tester, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality software products that meet customer expectations. You will be responsible for developing and executing test plans, cases, and scripts to validate the functionality and performance of software applications.

This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills. You will work closely with development teams to identify and report defects, and collaborate with product managers to understand customer requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, preferably on enterprise-level applications
  • Thorough knowledge of software testing life cycles, including test case preparation and execution
  • Proficiency in different testing frameworks and tools
  • Knowledge of Azure Data Bricks, Pyspark, and Azure Data Factory is a plus
  • Experience testing medium-to-large projects and data warehouses
  • Identification and test data preparation techniques
  • Leading test teams and collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Extensive exposure to back-end/ETL testing with high-level SQL skills
  • Understanding of data quality frameworks and data analysis techniques
