Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Charger Management System Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining the charger management system, ensuring seamless communication between network partners and charger suppliers.

The role involves testing new OCPI & OCPP connections, troubleshooting issues during test sessions, and conducting thorough testing for compliance with OCPP requirements. Additionally, the specialist will contribute to the development of new features and enhancements for OCPP protocols, support testing of protocol updates, and perform troubleshooting of OCPI/OCPP interoperability related issues.

In this role, you will work closely with hardware engineers, software developers, and project managers to achieve project goals. You will also monitor asset health, create final test reports, and aggressively manage electricity consumption at each location to minimize operation costs.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Problem solving and analytical skills: Strong ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Communication skills: Excellent communication skills to interface with cross-functional teams and all levels of personnel internally and externally.
  • Regulatory knowledge: In-depth understanding of regulatory requirements, UL, ISO, IEC, and industry standards applicable to utility connected electric vehicle battery charging products.
  • Technical skills: Understanding of OCPP 1.6J, OSCP2.0, and OCPP V2.0.1 communication protocol, experience using software development tools such as Jira and Confluence, and working knowledge of software sequence diagrams.
