Integration Specialist - Technical Architect Role

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Integration Specialist to lead the integration of IBM Maximo with our iMaintenance SaaS platform.
  • The role involves architecting, designing, and implementing secure and scalable API-based integrations to enable seamless interoperability between Maximo and our cloud-native mobile/web applications.
Main Responsibilities:">
  • Lead the end-to-end architecture and design of IBM Maximo integrations with our SaaS products, primarily iMaintenance.
  • Define integration patterns and frameworks leveraging REST APIs, SOAP services, and middleware where required.
  • Collaborate with our Product, Engineering, and DevOps teams to ensure secure, scalable, and high-performance integration solutions.
  • Map Maximo business processes and data models to our iMaintenance workflows (Work Orders, Assets, Inventory, Procurement, etc.).
  • Establish API governance, authentication mechanisms (OAuth2, SAML, API Keys), and data synchronization strategies.
  • Guide the development and QA teams on best practices for Maximo API utilization and error handling.
  • Conduct technical workshops with customers and internal teams to validate requirements and deliver technical design documents.
  • Provide performance optimization, troubleshooting, and ongoing support for Maximo integrations.
  • Stay updated on IBM Maximo roadmaps, API capabilities, and related technologies (IoT, AI/ML for predictive maintenance).
Your Expertise:">
  • 10+ years of IT experience, with 5+ years focused on IBM Maximo architecture and integrations.
  • Strong understanding of IBM Maximo data model, business processes, and Maximo Integration Framework (MIF).
  • Proven expertise in designing and consuming REST/SOAP APIs for Maximo.
  • Hands-on experience with MIF (Maximo Integration Framework) in past projects.
  • Experience with API management tools (Apigee, Kong, MuleSoft, or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and SaaS integration models.
  • Knowledge of mobile application integrations (preferably with enterprise field applications).
  • Proficiency in JSON, XML, and scripting languages for Maximo customization/integration.
  • Experience with security protocols (OAuth2, JWT, SSL/TLS).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to design scalable architectures.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
