Role Description

This is a remote, full-time role for an IBM API Connect Developer. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing APIs using IBM API Connect. Day-to-day tasks include API lifecycle management, ensuring security protocols, maintaining and enhancing existing APIs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project goals. Additionally, the candidate will engage in back-end development and integration efforts to support complex business processes.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency with IBM API Connect platform
  • Proficiency with GatewayScript and XSLT
  • Strong working knowledge in XML, YAML/Swagger, SOAP, JSON, WSDL, Web Services 
  • Strong understanding of security protocols and best practices in API development
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote setting
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
