Senior Food Regulatory Professional

The role of Senior Food Regulatory Professional involves leading regulatory intelligence on domestic and international food labelling regulations across multiple markets. This includes monitoring, analysing, and interpreting global regulatory updates to translate them into actionable implications for food businesses.

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of similarities and dissimilarities between national and international food laws regarding additives, ingredients, nutrition information, metrology nuances, front of pack labelling, and advertising claims.
  • Support the digitisation of regulatory frameworks into the company's SaaS platform.
  • Provide thought leadership in nutraceuticals, health supplements, and functional foods.
  • Collaborate with product, technology, and client teams to strengthen digital regulatory solutions.
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in food science, nutrition, or regulatory affairs, with a focus on international food export regulations.
  • Strong working knowledge of labelling standards, claims regulations, and compliance requirements in key global markets.
  • Proven ability to track and analyse regulatory changes, advisories, and amendments.
  • Familiarity with nutraceuticals and health supplement regulations is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with industry, clients, and regulators.
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills to support digitisation of regulatory processes.
  • Industry understanding of trade policies, export compliance challenges, and regulatory impact on food businesses.
