Senior Paid Search Analyst Job Description

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Paid Search Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing large online search engine marketing campaigns for clients on Google and Bing platforms.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing campaign strategies based on client objectives. They will work closely with the digital team to ensure seamless campaign delivery and provide strategic recommendations to shape future planning.

  • Manage paid advertising campaigns aligned with the company's strategic direction.
  • Ensure campaign setup and delivery is aligned with the tactical plan and offer strategic recommendations to inform future planning.
  • Optimize media campaigns towards target key performance indicators within various advertising platforms, including Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • At least 4 years of experience building paid search/PPC campaign strategies based on client goals and objectives.
  • Expertise in building and optimizing campaigns, keyword lists, extensions, etc.
  • Proficient in writing and testing ad copy.
  • Experience with Google Ads Editor.
  • Ability to develop budget projections and pace campaigns based on monthly budgets.
  • Experience with bidding tools and strategies.
  • Excellent English language skills as the role involves working and communicating with teams globally.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills to understand and analyze marketing campaign data.
  • Strong Excel skills including formulas, filtering, pivot tables, and trending charts development.
  • Knowledge of online business marketing principles (impressions, clicks, conversions, ROI, cost per acquisition).
Preferred Skills:
  • Working knowledge of one or more third-party tools like DoubleClick and Omniture.
  • Experience in running Google Shopping campaigns.
  • Macros and introductory Visual Basic.
