At CraftsMill, we are seeking a talented and skilled Furniture Designer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative and high-quality furniture products that meet the needs of our customers.

  • Your primary responsibility will be to design and develop new furniture products, including wooden and upholstered pieces, in collaboration with our production team.
  • You will work closely with our operations team to ensure that all designs are feasible and can be produced efficiently.
  • Additionally, you will collaborate with our quality control team to set standards for finished products and ensure that they meet our high quality expectations.
  • You will also have the opportunity to work with various materials and fabrics, and to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the industry.

About the Role:

We are looking for a designer who is passionate about creating innovative and functional furniture designs. You should have a solid understanding of design principles and a demonstrated ability to translate concepts into reality.

  • You should be a graduate from a reputable design institute with a specialization in furniture design or a related field.
  • You should have hands-on experience in design and development, specifically in home décor, furniture, and craft clusters, through conceptualization, product illustrations, material explorations, and product development.
  • You should have experience working with a variety of materials, including wood, metal, terracotta, fabric, leather, bamboo, and others.
  • You should have experience in production coordination with craftsmen, medium, and large-scale factory production of such products.
  • You should have an understanding and experience of managing production schedules, production processes, and coordination with various vendors and craftsmen.
  • You should have a keen eye for detail and be able to maintain high standards of quality and craftsmanship.
