Job Description\

As a Data Integration Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless data integration from various sources into our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand high-level and low-level design requirements from documents
  • Set up development, unit testing, and user acceptance testing environments in Teradata, Unix, and Hadoop
  • Estimate space requirements and allocate space to Teradata databases in system integration testing and user acceptance testing environments
  • Transfer seed data from production to test environments using Teradata utilities
  • Create forklift jobs in mainframe to copy production data to mainframe files, then transfer data to lower lanes using Fast-Export Utility and NDM
  • Setup ETL jobs in regression efforts and execute flow execution in Autosys and Mainframe
  • Assign tasks to team members daily, participate in defect review meetings and DSU calls
  • Prepare test cases with test plans and review with Dev teams
  • Write SQL scripts to validate Change Data Capture logic in Teradata
Required Skills\

Desirable Qualifications Include:

  • 5-10 years of overall testing experience
  • Expertise in Microsoft Azure Cloud platform
  • Working knowledge of structured and unstructured file formats (Avro, Parquet)
  • Proficiency in Python programming
  • Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of SQL language
  • Experience working with large data sets and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of data architectures, data warehousing, and datalake concepts
