Job Overview

Data migration is a critical process in modern business. Our organization relies on it to transfer data from legacy systems to our target platform, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.

Our ideal candidate will develop the overall strategy, scope, and roadmap for our data migration program, having a deep understanding of data modeling, master data management (MDM), and data governance.

The selected individual will lead the end-to-end execution of data migration activities, including extraction, transformation, loading (ETL), validation, and reconciliation. They will also manage the migration of master data, transactional data, and historical records from legacy systems to the target platform.

To be successful in this role, you should have strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop the overall data migration strategy, scope, and roadmap.
  • Lead the end-to-end execution of data migration activities.
  • Manage the migration of master data, transactional data, and historical records.
  • Define and enforce data quality rules, cleansing standards, and validation procedures.
  • Coordinate data reconciliation, defect tracking, and issue resolution processes.

Requirements:

  • At least 7 years of experience in data migration, data integration, or data management roles.
  • Proven experience leading at least one full-cycle data migration for a major ERP, HCM, or CRM implementation.
  • Experience working with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, BAAN, etc.
  • Experience with data migration tools.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, MDM, and data governance.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
