System Cost Optimization Specialist

This role involves playing a critical part in driving cost efficiency and optimization across business processes and systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and monitoring data related to expenses from various functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and analyze data on expenses from each business function to identify areas for improvement
  • Estimate costs and compare budgets with actual expenses to optimize resource allocation
  • Monitor changes in products or processes that may impact costs and develop strategies to mitigate these effects
  • Gather and analyze financial data to identify trends and patterns in expense behavior
  • Develop and implement cost-saving solutions to reduce operational expenses

Proficiency in SAP FI is essential for extracting data on a frequent basis. Your ability to identify variations in actuals and budgeted amounts will be crucial in creating detailed analysis reports, including operating expenses, capital expenditures, and discretionary spending.

Deliverables:
  • Create and maintain reports and dashboards that visualize key expense metrics, trends, and variances
  • Present findings and insights to concerned departments, making complex financial data accessible and actionable
  • Compare forecasted and actual expenses and discuss potential differences with department heads
  • Standardize processes and use learnings across businesses, benchmarking external organizations and adhering to industry standards to develop a robust cost control system

Strong analytical skills, business acumen, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, assertiveness, executive presence, and experience in cost expense analysis are essential for success in this role.
