Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Cost and Expense Management Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing cost reports, analyzing expenses, and identifying opportunities for cost optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of detailed financial statements for all business/function verticals
- Analyzing costs, liaising with departments to understand various aspects affecting costs
- Monthly tracking of Profit & Loss (P&L) expenses, including deep dive investigation of material breaks, root cause analysis, and fixing gaps
- Performing variance analysis and providing explanations against budget/prior periods
- Preparing comprehensive costs dashboard for senior management review
- Conducting ad-hoc analyses and addressing issues/challenges that arise during regular reporting process
- Identifying cost optimization opportunities through detailed analysis of expenses/cost line items
- Preparing and maintaining yearly detailed budgets/mid-year forecasts under different scenarios and comparing with actual results
