Expert Murex System Support Specialist

As a Murex specialist, you will be responsible for providing end-to-end support on Murex 3.1.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Work on various system implementation, configuration and developments in datamart, MXML pre-trade and post-trade workflows, RTBS and MDCS.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to gather, document and verify requirements.
  • Analyse and make recommendations based on related Murex experience.
  • Follow client lifecycle and documentation requirements.
  • Support IT audits and technology risk assessments.
  • Develop and test database changes.
  • Perform technical reviews of production changes.
  • Write clear documentation of issues and resolution within our knowledge base.
  • Maintain the Control-M scheduling tool for intraday and end of day batches.
  • Deal directly with business users to analyze and diagnose critical issues.
  • Resolve issues related to risk, pricing, PnL, market data, operations, interfaces, reporting.
  • Collaborate with vendors to resolve issues and co-ordinate testing fixes/solutions.
  • Act as an intermediary between business and vendor.
  • Debug and enhance bespoke java processes supporting the Murex implementation.
