Cell Culture Expert

As a Cell Culture Specialist at a leading biopharmaceutical organization, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the development and optimization of upstream processes for monoclonal antibody manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and establish scalable and robust processes to meet desired product yield and quality standards.
  • Assess risk and implement mitigation strategies during process development and scale-up activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate technical discussions related to process development, technology transfer, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in technology transfer activities and coordinate with program management teams to deliver on project timelines.
Requirements:
  • A doctoral degree in Life Sciences or a relevant field is required.
  • Technical expertise in one of the following areas: Omics technologies (Metabolomics, Metabolic Flux Analysis), Bioprocess modeling (Metabolic modeling, process modeling, digital twin for bioreactor or cells), or CFD (Computational fluid dynamics).
  • A strong understanding of statistical concepts and QbD and DOE principles is essential.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills are necessary.

Special Requirements:

The candidate must possess technical expertise in one of the below areas:

  • Omics technologies – Metabolomics, Metabolic Flux Analysis
  • Bioprocess modeling – Metabolic modeling, process modeling, digital twin for bioreactor or cells
  • CFD – Computational fluid dynamics to better understand and simulate bioreactor mixing
