Electrochemistics Audit Leader

  • Execute comprehensive audits of financial records, tax compliance and accounts to ensure transparency and accountability
  • Analyze audit results and provide actionable recommendations for process improvements to senior management
  • Evaluate accounting procedures, payroll, inventory and tax statements to inform strategic financial decision-making
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify areas for cost savings and develop mitigation strategies
  • Foster collaboration with management to implement remedial actions in financial practices
  • Mentor junior auditing personnel in their research and integrate their findings into the audit process
  • Develop and review annual audit reports to ensure accuracy and relevance
  • Research federal and state laws and regulations to ensure company-wide compliance

About this role:

We are seeking an experienced Electrochemistics Audit Leader to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for leading audits, analyzing results, and providing actionable recommendations for process improvements.

What you'll do:

  1. Lead audits of financial records, tax compliance, and accounts
  2. Develop and implement process improvements based on audit results
  3. Evaluate accounting procedures and recommend changes
  4. Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
  5. Foster collaboration with management to implement remedial actions
  6. Mentor junior auditing personnel
  7. Develop and review annual audit reports

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • 5+ years experience in auditing and financial analysis
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
