PCB Design Specialist

We are seeking a skilled PCB design specialist to fill this critical role. The ideal candidate will have experience with software development and design principles, with a strong understanding of circuit board design.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain PCB CAD libraries, including schematic symbols, footprints, and parametric data.
  • Generate accurate footprints for various components, adhering to IPC-7351 standards.
  • Validate BOMs, electrical attributes, package information, and component descriptions to ensure accuracy.
  • Process new part requests using PLM systems and maintain library updates.
  • Cross-check datasheets, schematics, and footprints to ensure consistency in pin sequencing and package details.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability and compliance.
  • Maintain detailed documentation, adhere to standard naming conventions, and ensure smooth integration with ECAD/MCAD tools.

Required Skills & Tools:

CAD Tools: Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, Mentor Graphics Expedition, OrCAD/Capture CIS.

PLM Systems: Windchill, Target PLM, Teamcenter, Cockpit Server.

Standards & Compliance:

  • IPC-7351 for footprint creation and validation.
  • Familiarity with RoHS and REACH compliance requirements.
