Electronics Systems Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Systems Designer to join our team. As an Electronics Systems Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing power electronics systems, including battery management interfaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Development: Lead the design and development of power electronics systems, including battery management interfaces.
  • System Architecture: Define system hardware architecture and component specifications for high-voltage battery systems.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical, thermal, and systems engineering.
  • PCB Layout: Guide PCB layout for high-power designs, ensuring EMI/EMC compliance and thermal management.
  • Validation and Testing: Drive validation and testing of prototypes in lab and vehicle environments.
  • Compliance: Maintain compliance with automotive standards such as ISO 26262, AEC-Q100, and functional safety.
  • Component Selection: Select and integrate components such as MCUs, ADCs, op-amps, shunt resistors, Hall-effect sensors, and isolation devices.
  • Schematic and PCB Design: Develop schematics and PCB layouts using tools like Altium Designer, OrCAD, or KiCAD.
Requirements:
  • Power Electronics Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in power electronics design and development.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in tools such as Altium Designer, OrCAD, or KiCAD, and experience with microcontrollers and other electronic components.
  • Collaboration: Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
