Job Title: Production Project Lead

Job Description

As a seasoned Production Project Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day print execution for our clients. Your role will involve driving on-time deliverables through effective project management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing client expectations and ensuring timely delivery of work tasks
  • Adhering to established processes and policies to maintain high-quality prints
  • Providing technical support and advice to minimize costs
  • Partnering with artwork studios and printers to drive quality and consistency across prints
  • Supporting the design phase through artwork review and identifying potential risks
  • Leading conversations with stakeholders during color assessments on print work
  • Strong project management skills, including tracking project timelines and meeting deadlines
  • Managing color standards storage and supporting courier arrangements with logistics companies
  • Taking initiative and being proactive in resolving challenges
  • Fostering good relationships with stakeholders
  • Providing support onsite, offsite, and at printer's sites as required
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • At least 5 years of progressive print production experience or equivalent combination of education
  • Client-facing experience and prior experience in project/account management
  • Familiarity with color management or separation tools
  • Strong knowledge of various print methods (e.g., offset, flexo, or gravure)
  • Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management, and planning skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including analysis, interpretation, and reasoning
  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers, colleagues, and external clients or vendors
  • Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to details, deadlines, and reporting
  • Occasional travel is required (local/international)
  • High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook, and Internet applications
