Job Description:

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation and cooking of Indian dishes, including curries, tandoori, biryanis, and chutneys.
  • Operate and maintain Indian kitchen equipment, such as tandoor, kadai, and pressure cooker.
  • Follow standardized recipes and portion controls to ensure consistency and limit waste.
  • Prepare, cook, and plate diverse dishes across multiple stations, including grill, fryer, pastry, and sauces.
  • Plan and contribute to menu development, proposing seasonal special items.
  • Assist in stock inventory management, checking, ordering, and rotating ingredients.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Qualifications:
  • 2 years' experience as Commis or All Rounder Chef with Indian cuisine experience.
  • Culinary or hotel management certificate/diploma preferred.
