Procurement Operations Manager Job

We are seeking a seasoned professional to oversee the day-to-day procurement operations processes, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage Procurement Processes: Handle PR to PO conversion, fixed asset creation and capitalization, supplier re-certification, contract drafting, and system updates.
  • Drive Key Performance Metrics: Contribute to SLA, quality, and efficiency metrics.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work with category managers, accounts payable, vendor risk management, corporate ethics and compliance teams, and information security and privacy teams.
  • Analyze Data and Act: Analyze data and act within the realm of activities as a buyer.
  • Build and Publish Reports: Build and publish weekly/monthly reports for the team and represent the team on various internal forums.
  • Handle Customer Relationships: Resolve user queries, build awareness of common pitfalls, conduct periodic reviews with key partners, and handle customer issues along the contract execution path.
  • Carry Out Special Projects: Carry out special projects and drive continuous improvements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's/Undergraduate Degree: A bachelor's or undergraduate degree in any subject area.
  • Years of Experience: 5-7 years of experience in procurement operations with exposure to both product and services procurement.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of procurement processes, P2P tools like Ariba/Coupa, ERP systems like SAP/Oracle, contract drafting, and legal terms in a contract.
  • Soft Skills: Confidence, ability to demonstrate value, self-starter, strong sense of ownership, accountability, analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
