Network Team Lead Job Description

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Network Team Lead to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing, installing, maintaining, and managing cloud network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, install, maintain, and manage cloud network infrastructure, including physical and SDN networks.
  • Ensure high availability, flexibility, and network performance, meeting SLA requirements.
  • Oversee a team of network engineers, providing technical guidance and expertise.
  • Monitor key performance metrics, analyzing trends and assessing risks to provide recommendations.
  • Develop and deliver technical proposals and solution presentations for cloud network infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • 6-8 years of experience in data center networking, with 1-3 years in SDN, specifically in private cloud & virtualization.
  • Strong fundamentals in WAN, routing, security, switching, and QoS technologies.
  • Familiarity with SDN technologies, preferably hands-on experience with VMware NSX, Juniper Contrail/Tungsten, Arista, or Cisco.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills and ability to quickly resolve complex network problems.
  • Effective project management and completion of complex network tasks with minimal guidance.
  • Motivated learner, able to quickly learn new technologies and keep networking skills current.
  • Experience in handling a team of minimum 4 people in the above role.
