Cloud Platform Architect

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Platform Architect to join our team. As an expert in cloud-native infrastructure automation, you will design and deploy scalable and secure cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • APIGEE Hybrid Runtime Deployment: Design, deploy, and manage APIGEE Hybrid runtime environments on Kubernetes clusters (GKE, AKS, or on-prem Kubernetes).
  • Platform Management: Perform installation, upgrades, patching, and maintenance of APIGEE Hybrid and APIGEE X environments.
  • Runtime Component Management: Manage APIGEE runtime components including Message Processors, Synchronizers, and Cassandra clusters within Kubernetes.
  • Infrastructure Provisioning: Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and Helm charts.
  • Automation Scripting: Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash/Shell and Python to streamline deployment, monitoring, and operational tasks.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with API teams to support API proxy deployments, troubleshoot runtime issues, and optimize platform performance.
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for APIGEE platform deployments and API lifecycle management.
  • Platform Monitoring: Monitor platform health, capacity planning, and perform troubleshooting for runtime and infrastructure issues.
  • Integration and Governance: Work closely with network, security, and cloud teams to configure secure and compliant environments.
  • Multi-cloud Strategy: Support multi-cloud and hybrid cloud deployment strategies, ensuring seamless integration and governance.
  • Documentation: Document platform architecture, operational procedures, and automation workflows.

As an ideal candidate, you will have strong expertise in cloud-native infrastructure automation, APIGEE runtime deployment, and APIGEE Hybrid platform management. Proficiency in scripting with Bash/Shell and Python, along with solid Google Cloud Platform (GCP) knowledge, is essential. Experience with Kubernetes & Containerization, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Scripting & Automation, Cloud Platform Experience, DevOps & CI/CD, Networking & Security is also required.
