Infrastructure Engineer Opportunity

**Job Description**

As a skilled Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a vital role in designing and analyzing various projects, including wet utilities such as potable water, sewer, stormwater, and highway drainage. Your primary responsibility will be to perform design/analyses calculations using governing engineering formulas and skills.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and/or a related field, with relevant work experience in infrastructure engineering design, particularly water, wastewater, and storm drainage networks.

You will also be responsible for providing technical guidance to junior engineers, collaborating with clients through meetings and presentations, and contributing to the development of designs and documents.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Perform design/analyses calculations related to wet utilities
  • General Arrangements, Layouts, plans & profiles
  • Research and prepare design options and documents
  • Prepares engineering computations, quantity takeoffs, specifications and designs
  • Provides technical guidance to junior Engineers
  • A confident, positive individual, interacting with clients through meetings and presentations

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

For this position, we are looking for an engineer who has:

  • Bachelor's in civil engineering and/or Masters in Water Resources Engineering/Environmental/Hydraulics Engineering discipline
  • 3-15 years of relevant work experience in infrastructure engineering design, particularly water, wastewater and storm drainage networks
  • Previous modelling development experience using Sewer Gems, Water Gems, HEC-HMS, HEC RAS, InfoWorks ICM, WS Pro, Civil 3D, Navisworks etc...
  • Experience working in a multi-disciplinary consultancy
  • Strong report writing skills, with the ability to write clear and concise reports
  • Excellent presentation skills, written and verbal communication, initiative, motivation and a team player
  • Experience working internationally would be an advantage
