Market Development Representative Job

Job Description:

This role involves identifying potential customers, researching their needs and providing solutions to them. The ideal candidate will have strong research skills, the ability to communicate effectively and a proven track record of success in sales or market development.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research to identify potential customers and understand their needs
  • Develop and implement strategies to engage with potential customers and provide solutions to their problems
  • Work closely with other teams such as Sales and Marketing to ensure alignment and maximize results
  • Monitor and analyze data to optimize sales performance and improve customer engagement
  • Analyse business opportunities and propose effective solutions to maximise results
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Marketing & Sales Operations, and Business Management to enrich, cleanse and triage account data

Qualifications:

  • 2-6 years experience in Market Development, Business Development, or similar roles
  • BA/BS or equivalent graduation education.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com, Marketo, or similar applications
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • Precise, professional communication style through both written and verbal channels
  • Professional, empathetic manner capable of managing time and prioritizing tasks effectively with autonomy
  • Proven experience working closely with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced international start-up environment
