Network Security Position

We are seeking a highly skilled LAN Security Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and troubleshooting secure and efficient enterprise networks while ensuring compliance with security policies.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and manage firewalls to ensure secure network operations.
  • Manage and monitor firewalls including security policies, threat prevention, and URL filtering to maintain a secure network environment.
  • Maintain and optimize firewall rulesets to balance security and network performance.
  • Administer centralized management systems for real-time monitoring and logging of firewall activity.
  • Plan and execute firmware upgrades, high-availability setups, and disaster recovery testing to ensure business continuity.
  • Configure, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise switching infrastructure to support network operations.
  • Implement VLANs, STP, VTP, EtherChannel, HSRP/VRRP/GLBP, QoS, ACLs to segment and secure the network.
  • Perform advanced L3 routing on switches (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP) to ensure efficient network communication.
  • Collaborate with teams to deliver secure network solutions and create technical documentation, network diagrams, and standard operating procedures.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10-15 years of experience in enterprise network security and managing teams.
  • Strong understanding of Networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, STP)
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent field preferred.
  • Knowledge of Network automation is a plus.
  • Experience in handling large Enterprise Networks is desired.

  • Cisco: CCNA, CCNP Wireless/Enterprise, CWNA
