API Development Lead

We are seeking a skilled API development professional to drive our API strategy and execution. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Golang, MongoDB, and Agile methodologies, as well as excellent leadership abilities to manage and mentor a team of developers.

This role is critical for driving our API initiatives, ensuring seamless integration with various services, and delivering high-performance, scalable APIs that align with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

  1. Lead and mentor a team of API developers and engineers.
  2. Utilize MongoDB for data storage, ensuring efficient data management and retrieval.
  3. Implement and manage Agile processes within the team to ensure efficient and timely delivery of projects.
  4. Collaborate with product managers, front-end developers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure the API strategy aligns with business goals.
  5. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to keep the API ecosystem modern and efficient.
  6. Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources efficiently.

Requirements :

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6+ years of experience in API development with expertise in Golang and MongoDB.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful and GraphQL API design principles.
  • Proven experience in implementing and managing Agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of database systems (SQL and NoSQL) and their integration with APIs.
