Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Golang developer to join our team. Key responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance services and applications using Golang.

  • Implement and manage RESTful APIs including OpenAPI/Swagger specifications.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines preferably using GitLab CI.
  • Write clean, scalable, and testable code using unit testing frameworks in Golang.
  • Work with containerization tools like Docker and shell scripting Bash.
  • Integrate and manage API Gateways such as Tyk Kong or Apigee.
  • Implement secure API authentication and authorization mechanisms e.g. JWT OAuth2.
  • Perform profiling and performance tuning for Golang applications.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

To excel in this role you will need strong proficiency in the following areas:

  • Proficiency in Golang programming language.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs design implementation and management.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines build and maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of unit testing frameworks and practices.
  • Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and shell scripting.
  • Experience with API Gateways integration and management.
  • Understanding of secure API authentication and authorization mechanisms.
