Senior UI/UX Designer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior UI/UX Designer to lead our design process from concept to execution for web and mobile applications.

The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and experience.

The role involves conducting user research, interviews, and usability studies to gather insights and validate design decisions.

A key responsibility will be to create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.

The successful candidate will also develop high-fidelity mockups and prototypes for new product features.

An essential part of the role is to establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards.

Mentorship and guidance of junior designers, providing constructive feedback and support, is also an important aspect of this position.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of proven UI/UX design experience for digital products or services.
  • Proficient in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing excellent visual design skills and a deep understanding of user-centered design principles.
  • Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps.
  • Up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
  • Experience designing for accessibility and internationalization.
