Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned professional to assume the role of Credit Manager. This individual will be responsible for ensuring that all credit underwriting aligns with our established credit policy.

The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills. They should also be proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.

In this role, you will maintain high-quality judgment on credit proposals, stay updated on credit policies and market trends, and conduct thorough product due diligence. You will also supervise Credit Executives and provide regular training sessions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure credit underwriting aligns with defined credit policy for Unsecured Business.
  • Maintain high-quality judgment on credit proposals to ensure robust portfolio.
  • Stay updated on credit policies, processes, and market trends.
  • Conduct thorough product due diligence for all proposals.
  • Verify quality of Credit approval notes and emails.
  • Adhere to prescribed turnaround times for proposals.
  • Promote efficient productivity in underwriting proposals.
  • Timely and accurately maintain Management Information Systems (MIS).
  • Contribute to new project initiatives for Unsecured Business.
  • Develop expertise across various products within Unsecured finance.
