Chief Operating Officer

Action For India is seeking a visionary and strategic Chief Operating Officer to drive organizational growth, programmatic excellence, and financial sustainability. About the Role

The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in strategic program implementation, fundraising, and team management. With a deep understanding of the social entrepreneurship ecosystem, they will be responsible for overseeing project managers and resource allocation to guarantee high-quality execution of programs.

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute AFI's comprehensive strategic plan, providing direction for all activities aligned with the organization's core mission and values.
  • Program Management: Oversee budgeting, accounting, and financial reporting, ensuring compliance with donor requirements and maintaining strong financial controls and transparency.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and nurture relationships with social entrepreneurs, investors, mentors, and government agencies, representing AFI at national and international forums.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 10+ years of senior leadership experience in non-profit, social enterprise, or corporate sectors.
  • Proven success in fundraising and donor relations.
  • Strong financial management skills, with experience in budget management and multilateral financial reporting.

Education
