About the Role

Pearl Technologies is a Technology Service Provider dedicated to providing a large number of IT services, investing time and support into its employees to provide them with the room to learn and grow their expertise.

We're expanding and looking to add a motivated and experienced Network Administrator to our team. As a key member of our IT department, you'll play a vital role in designing and deploying robust network infrastructure and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deploy network infrastructure and services, including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS, and SD-WAN.
  • Apply engineering best practices to analyze, design, develop, deploy, and support network infrastructure in a large data centre environment.
  • Deliver data centre and public cloud network solutions that accommodate both present and future needs.
  • Experience designing networks for regional resiliency.
  • Configure and manage routing protocols to ensure efficient network routing and failover.
  • Develop and implement network roadmaps, architectures, standards, and governance.
  • Manage and enforce 802.1X network access control for secure device authentication and authorization.
  • Collaborate with the security team to ensure network components adhere to security standards and best practices.
  • Lead continuous process development, improvement, and automation of Perimeter Defense related solutions and support activities.
  • Demonstrate experience in network switching and routing, firewall and intrusion detection and prevention systems, network and web-related protocols.
  • Skilled at handling multiple competing priorities while working on complex projects.
  • Contribute to vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security audits.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 4+ years of experience designing, deploying, maintaining, and improving on-prem and cloud networks.
  • Strong understanding of data center network provisioning.
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing Cisco Switches, HPE Switches, and other network protocols.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools and experience with deploying and managing load balancers and remote access VPNs.
  • Knowledge of ITIL and change management processes.
  • Hands-on experience with multiple platforms in a corporate environment.
  • Self-starter with high energy to meet the needs of a demanding business and IT environment.
