Job Title: APIGEE Platform Expert

We are seeking a skilled professional with strong expertise in deploying and managing hybrid cloud platforms, automating infrastructure using Terraform, and designing containerized applications on Kubernetes.

  • This role requires hands-on experience deploying and managing runtime environments on Kubernetes clusters, automating infrastructure with Terraform, and managing containerized applications using Helm charts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and manage hybrid cloud platform components including message processors, synchronizers, and Cassandra clusters within Kubernetes.
  • Perform installation, upgrades, patching, and maintenance of runtime environments and integrated application platforms.
  • Manage runtime environment components including network security, firewall rules, VPNs, and cloud security best practices.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployment using Terraform and Helm charts.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash/Shell and Python to streamline deployment, monitoring, and operational tasks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support API proxy deployments, troubleshoot runtime issues, and optimize platform performance.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for platform deployments and API lifecycle management.
  • Monitor platform health, capacity planning, and perform troubleshooting for runtime and infrastructure issues.
  • Work closely with security and compliance teams to ensure secure and compliant environments.
  • Support multi-cloud and hybrid cloud deployment strategies, ensuring seamless integration and governance.
  • Document platform architecture, operational procedures, and automation workflows.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong experience with hybrid cloud platform deployment and runtime management.
  • Familiarity with API management concepts (OAuth, JWT, API keys, SSL/TLS).
  • Experience with API proxy development, debugging, and policy implementation.

Expertise:

  • Hands-on experience managing Kubernetes clusters and designing containerized applications.
  • Proficient in deploying and managing containerized applications using Helm charts.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes networking, ingress controllers, and service mesh is a plus.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Skills:

  • Extensive experience with Terraform for provisioning cloud and Kubernetes resources.
  • Experience using the Terraform Helm provider to deploy applications on Kubernetes.

Scripting & Automation Expertise:

  • Strong skills in Bash/Shell scripting and Python for automation and operational tasks.
  • Experience developing automation pipelines for deployment and monitoring.

Cloud Platform Knowledge:

  • Solid understanding of cloud services and multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
  • Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools and pipelines is a plus.

Networking & Security Expertise:

  • Understanding of network security, firewall rules, VPNs, and cloud security best practices.
  • Knowledge of API security standards and compliance requirements.
