Job Title: Data Lifecycle Management Specialist

We are seeking a Data Lifecycle Management (DLM) professional with expertise in data retention, archiving, disposition requirements, risk management, and documentation.

This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with data management policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategies for assessing and documenting data retention, archiving, and disposition requirements.
  • Analyze and review data management processes with business and technology teams.
  • Identify and mitigate data management risks, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Compile and track progress on implementing data management strategies.
  • Represent the DLM team in cross-functional meetings, communicating key policies and requirements.
  • Collaborate with teams to develop process improvements and implement business and technical solutions.

Required Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills with 3-5 years' experience in data management, information management, or a related field.
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Attention to detail and ability to document complex data management requirements.
  • Experience in business analysis, process improvement, and working with cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor's degree.

Nice to Have:

  • Degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Knowledge of data protection/privacy regulations and experience with data privacy laws.
  • Familiarity with database/cloud technologies, AI, and reporting tools.
