Job Overview:

  • We are seeking a talented professional to join our team as an Audio Systems Specialist. The ideal candidate will have expertise in audio engineering and be able to perform complex tasks with minimal supervision.

About the Job:

  • This role involves performing organizational and process support tasks, including electronic parts modification and revision, software updates, and system calibration.
  • The specialist will also provide design support for engineers, recommending modifications for midsized projects and collaborating with stakeholders to develop solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support: Performs organizational or low-level development and process test support tasks with some supervision.
  • Design Support: Provides layout and design recommendations for engineers on midsized projects with some guidance.
  • Installation and Operation: Installs, upgrades, configures, and helps operate company products and/or components based on specifications, tolerances, and reliability.
  • Data Gathering: Gathers and integrates data from stakeholders to understand simple specifications and develop basic solutions.
  • Project Collaboration: Collaborates with individuals inside own team and across other teams to complete project work while managing and executing individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.

Level of Responsibility:

  • Works independently with minimal supervision.
  • Decision-making affects direct area of work and/or work group.
  • Requires verbal and written communication skills to convey complex information.
  • Tasks require multiple steps which can be performed in various orders; some planning, problem-solving, and prioritization must occur to complete the tasks effectively.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field.
  • Certification in Acoustics or background with an understanding of related standards.
  • Hands-on experience with Audio Analyzers - Head Acoustics, Audio Precision, B&K etc.
  • 3+ years of experience in a lab environment, working on Anechoic/ Acoustic setups and calibration (microphones, speakers, calibrators etc.).
