Cloud Architect Role

This is a highly skilled role involving the design, implementation and management of cloud computing systems.

  • Develops and deploys cloud solutions using platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Manages cloud infrastructure including storage, networking and virtualization.
  • Migrates applications and data from on-premises systems to the cloud ensuring minimal disruption.
  • Monitors cloud performance, troubleshoots issues and optimizes resource usage.
  • Ensures security policies are implemented, backup strategies are in place and disaster recovery plans are up to date.
  • Collaborates with development, DevOps and IT teams to integrate cloud services.
  • Stays updated on emerging technologies and trends in cloud computing.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
  • Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Strong knowledge of networking, virtualization and cloud security.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform).
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments.
  • Cloud certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, etc.) preferred.
