Job Summary

As a CAD Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing 3D models and stage drawings for CNC machine shop operations.

  • Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare detailed 3D models as per project requirements, ensuring precision and accuracy.

  2. Develop comprehensive stage drawings required for CNC machine shop operations, utilizing your knowledge of SolidWorks and AutoCAD.

  3. Design and prepare models/drawings for jigs & fixtures, leveraging your expertise in designing fixtures for CNC machines.

  4. Support additional engineering activities as assigned, demonstrating your ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in 3D modeling using SolidWorks, preferably in Oil & Gas (completion tools experience).
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD 2D drafting.
  • Thorough understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Solid knowledge of designing fixtures for CNC machines (HMC, VMC, CNC).
  • Hands-on experience and strong understanding of CNC machining processes.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel for technical documentation and reporting.
  • Effective communication skills in English (both written & verbal).
  • Exposure to Oil & Gas industry standards will be an added advantage.
