At the heart of successful projects, a skilled Scrum Master plays a pivotal role in guiding agile teams towards high achievement.

Job Overview:

This is an exciting opportunity to fill the position of Senior Scrum Master and contribute to the growth of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support multiple agile teams as the Sr. Scrum Master by facilitating Scrum events and removing impediments.
  • Coach and mentor Agile teams on Scrum principles, helping them become self-organizing and remove obstacles that hinder their progress.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, openness, and transparency within the team.
  • Work closely with the Product Owner to ensure a well-defined and prioritized product backlog.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by conducting regular retrospectives and implementing changes to enhance team performance.
  • Help the team reflect on their processes and find ways to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Monitor and report Agile metrics to track progress and quality of work.
  • Resolve conflicts within the team and promote a collaborative and positive working environment.
  • Encourage open communication and transparency.
  • Support and participate in the growth of the organization's Agile Journey.
  • Ensure cross-team dependencies are effectively managed and communicated.
  • Protect the team from external disruptions and ensure the Scrum framework is followed.
  • Perform issue and risk management to minimize development effort impact.
  • Support aspects of CoPs, Organizational Transformation, or Scrum of Scrums when needed.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of software development practices.
  • A-CSM or PSM II or SASM Certification preferred.
  • 4+ years as a Scrum Master.
  • Effective communication and influencing skills for assigned delivery teams, stakeholders, and management.
  • In-depth knowledge of Scrum practices and principles.
  • Ability to analyze and solve complex problems and facilitate root cause analysis.
  • Excellent leadership and empowerment skills to foster a collaborative culture.
  • Experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Flexibility to adapt to non-routine projects requiring re-prioritization of workload.
