Role Overview

The Technical Support Specialist position is designed to provide extensive post-sales support to customers and partners worldwide. This involves diagnosing and troubleshooting software and hardware issues, assisting with product applications and use cases, and communicating effectively with customers via various channels.

Responsibilities:

  • Effectively communicate technical information to customers
  • Diagnostics and troubleshooting of complex technical problems
  • Escalation of unresolved issues to internal teams
  • Provide timely feedback to customers
  • Consult relevant databases or external resources for solutions
  • Lead technical discussions to resolve issues
  • Develop and deliver workshops to local and global teams
  • Log and track customer issues
  • Prioritize and manage multiple ongoing issues
  • Follow up with customers on progress
  • Identify areas for process improvement
  • Document and maintain technical knowledge
  • Design and deliver product knowledge sessions
  • Collaborate with the sales team
  • Work closely with the engineering team

Required Qualifications:

  • Essential:
    • Strong understanding of network fundamentals
    • CCNA certification or equivalent expertise
    • Deep knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems
    • In-depth understanding of product software and hardware
    • Advanced understanding of network protocols and technologies
    • Proficiency in tracing and troubleshooting high-level protocols and traffic
    • Extensive knowledge of virtualization and cloud concepts
    • Good grasp of technology infrastructure and security principles
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to multitask
    • Effective communication of technical information to customers
  • Desirable:
    • Subject matter expertise in 1-3 areas relative to AppLogic Networks product
    • Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills
    • High CSAT ratings and positive customer feedback

Experience, Education, and Certifications:

  • Minimum 3+ years experience in a technical role aligned to the same field with customer support experience KVM Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, IT, or Software Engineering
  • Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft, Cisco, Linux, or similar qualification
