Associate Fellow Position

Purpose-Driven Research Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as an Associate Fellow. This role involves leading data-driven research and policy analysis projects, applying advanced econometric and statistical methods to gain causal insights from large-scale datasets.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and apply advanced econometric and statistical methods for causal insights.
  • Work with large-scale datasets (administrative, labour, GST, satellite, survey) to identify key trends and patterns.
  • Translate evidence into policy recommendations and clear outputs (reports, briefs, op-eds).

Qualifications:
  • A Master's or PhD in Economics, Econometrics, Data Science, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • Strong training in econometrics, statistics, and programming (Stata, R, or Python).
  • At least 7 years of experience in empirical research, data analysis, and publication.

Bonus Qualifications:
  • Experience in survey design and field data collection.
  • Familiarity with India's statistical system.
