About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Economist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for researching economic issues, conducting surveys, collecting data, analyzing it using analytical models and statistical techniques, presenting research results in reports, tables, and charts, interpreting and forecasting market trends, advising businesses, governments, and individuals on economic topics, recommending solutions to economic problems, and writing articles for academic journals and other media.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Planning: Develop and ensure research agendas and report concepts are implemented, delivering at least one detailed report within a year.
  2. Collaboration and Engagement: Engage with ministries, universities, think tanks, and other agencies in research assignments, producing at least one co-authored report/publication with Government/Academia.
  3. Research Agenda Identification: Work with stakeholders to identify topics of research, preparing discussion points/talking points for various meetings and discussion forums.
  4. Presentation and Communication: Make relevant presentations in various fora's, making crisp presentations during committee/council/government meetings, interpreting issues/concerns raised by various stakeholders, and recommending solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Economic Expertise: Post Graduate in Economics from a leading university in India or Abroad.
  • Thought Leadership: Demonstrate strategic thinking, excellent domain knowledge, and understanding.
  • Conceptualization and Consultative Skills: Possess effective communication and presentation skills.
