Accountant Role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will oversee general accounting operations, controlling and verifying financial transactions.

  • Reconcile account balances and bank statements
  • Maintain a general ledger
  • Prepare month-end close procedures

A successful Accountant combines excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial reports and forecasts.

Responsibilities:
  • Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts
  • Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results
  • Analyze financial information and summarize financial status
  • Suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending
  • Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
Budget Management

The ideal candidate should have experience collaborating and/or managing a team of Bookkeepers.

Key Skills:
  • Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
  • In-depth understanding of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (USGAAP)
  • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software packages
Qualifications:
  • Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Relevant certification (e.g., CMA or CPA) preferred
